Winter Programs
Earth Skills Weekend Camp
Campers currently in Grades 5-9
Campers will participate in a winter bushcraft experience learning earth skills in the context of winter that you can use throughout your whole life. Skills taught include stovemanship, winter tent set-up, fire lighting, wood processing and keeping warm and dry in the cold climate. Activities will be run by our partners, Dale “Raven” Kiselyk and Nature Alive Adventures in tandem with Camp Warwa staff.
- Dates: Saturday March 28th to Sunday March 29th 2026
- Arrival: 9:30am Saturday
- Departure: 1pm Sunday
- Optional Limited Bussing from Woodcroft Community League parking lot in Edmonton on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon (times to be confirmed)
- Cost: $175 per person
- Spots are limited and on a first come first served basis.
Dungeons and Dragons Weekend Camp
Campers currently in Grades 5-9
This program features the experience of playing the popular game Dungeons & Dragons! D&D is a cooperative, strategy-based role-playing game set in a fantasy world. Campers will take on the role of a group of heroes made up of warriors, wizards, rogues, elves and all other manners of fantasy characters. This program is ideal for both new and experienced D&D players and will be a primarily indoor experience run by Camp Warwa Staff.

Adventurer Retreat
Campers currently in Grades 7-9
This program is aimed at Adventurers (grades 7-9) and is a natural extension of our summer-time Adventurer programs. Retreats are a tradition of winters at Warwa that we provide for our staff and Wayfinders and now we are bringing them to our Adventurers to enhance their leadership skills and to develop their confidence, teamwork skills and passion for camp and its values. This program will feature leadership-oriented activities combined with some of our popular camp activities from the summer done in a weather-appropriate manner, all run by Camp Warwa Staff.
