Registration is now open for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Classes will start the first week of September.

Camp Warwa is delighted to be partnering with ABC Playschool! ABC Playschool is a licensed play, learn and grow preschool serving children ages 3-5. The playschool is facilitated by Early Childhood Educators.

ABC Playschool program includes music and movement, fitness and exercise, books and library, arts and crafts, themes, as well as sharing and presentation.  Located at the beautiful Camp Warwa Outdoor Center, we have a ton of opportunities for fun outdoor, nature based play.  We believe in giving children the opportunity to build their confidence though social skills and experiencing routines that will help them in the classroom, all while learning through play!

The playschool will be operating Tuesday and Thursday, 9am – 11:45am, from September – June. Space is limited, so please register soon to save your spot. Registration for 2025/2026 is now open! .

ABC Playschool does not require any parent fundraising or mandatory volunteer days.  There are several fun events that we organize throughout the year that interested parents are welcome to help out with if they’d like, but that is not required.

Fees for the upcoming school year are pending and will be announced this summer.  The Alberta Government has approved ABC Playschool to receive the Affordability Grant, which is expected to cover the full cost of the program.  Our goal is for this program to be offered at no cost to families.  If this grant funding were to cease or be reduced, families would have the option to continue in the program and pay a pro-rated user fee.
